We’re going to Crufts Hall 3 Stand 14. March 5–8, 2026
Charity Partnership · May 2026
We are proud to announce our partnership with StreetVet, a national charity dedicated to providing free veterinary care to the pets of those experiencing homelessness across the UK. This is a cause that resonates deeply with our values as a British manufacturer of animal care products and one we are delighted to support.
StreetVet is a registered charity operating across the UK with a network of more than 500 volunteer vets, veterinary nurses and support volunteers who give their time freely to care for animals whose owners are experiencing homelessness. Teams of volunteers in over 30 locations from Glasgow to Cornwall head out onto the streets to carry out outreach clinics, with a backpack stocked with daily pet essentials and veterinary supplies, providing on-the-spot treatment to pets who would otherwise go without the care they need and deserve.
The charity believes that every animal deserves to be treated with compassion, regardless of their owner’s circumstances. For many people experiencing homelessness, their pet is their most important companion — a source of comfort, loyalty and purpose. StreetVet exists to make sure those animals are never left without support.
Since launching, StreetVet has treated thousands of pets across the UK, from dogs and cats to smaller animals, providing everything from basic health checks to more complex treatment. Their mission is simple: no pet should suffer because their owner cannot afford to access veterinary care.
As part of this partnership, Bray Animal Care has donated Quick-Stop silver nitrate pencils for inclusion in every StreetVet outreach location backpack. Quick-Stop is a trusted silver nitrate-based product used to support, cleanse and soothe minor cuts and wounds in animals, making it a natural fit for real-world, on-the-go situations where simple, effective solutions matter most.
Silver nitrate has long been used in both human and animal healthcare for its wound-care properties. We are glad to see Quick-Stop by Bray put to such meaningful use on the streets of the UK, in the hands of the vets and nurses who need it most.
For us, this is about more than product donation. It is about standing behind causes that align with who we are as a company. StreetVet’s volunteers give their time freely so that no pet is left without care and we want to support that mission in every way we can.
StreetVet will also be featuring Bray Animal Care as a charity partner on their website, and we look forward to raising awareness of the incredible work they do for people experiencing homelessness with their pets across the UK.
Silver nitrate has been used for decades in both human and veterinary healthcare. Its ability to cleanse, soothe and support minor cuts and wounds, including superficial tissue damage, makes it particularly effective in field settings where access to a full veterinary practice is not possible. For volunteer vets providing street-level outreach clinics, having access to simple, trusted products like Quick-Stop by Bray means they can provide immediate care to pets in need without compromising on quality.
StreetVet volunteers treat a wide range of animals across the UK — from dogs and cats to rabbits and smaller pets — all belonging to those experiencing homelessness who rely on the charity for their animals’ wellbeing. Every product donated, no matter how small, plays a role in keeping those animals healthy and their owners supported.
